Where does that pipe go
 

Hi I am new but stuck already.

I took the engine out of my XT600E 2000 model, to get the exhaust studs drilled out and helicoiled as they all snapped when i tried to take the pipes off to clean them up and paint them.

Anyway engine is all back in, but there is a rubber pipe comes fro the top of the right hand carb towards the air box, and has a flame trap at the end of it. I cant remember where it came from, Does it just tie wrap to the frame or should it go somewhere?

Just fix it somewhere. It's the hose through which the carb measures air pressure, which obviously can only be done by not connecting anything else to it.
