wear camshaft bearings

When opening up my 3DS '89 I noticed slight wear on the bottom halves of the camshaft bearings (in the cilinder head). This would be the most loaded part as the valve spring forces act on this part of the bearing.
What I see is that the bearing surface is not gleaming anymore as the other bearing halves do in the rocker cover.
Camshaft has no play.

Is there reason for panic / installation of better bearings?

Hi
This is normal.
If the clearance (easily measured with plastigauge) becomes too large then take a light skim from the cam cover or head and re cut with a reamer.
