Uneven wear brake pads
 

I always get uneven wear in front, the pad on the piston side tear down twice as fast. Anyone else have same experience?

Make sure the bracket can moove freely on the slidepins (in lack of better words) and is properly lubed.

If those slide pins are allowing free movement, the brakes will self-adjust side to side, therefore wear evenly. If the slide pins don't allow free movement, nothing else you can do will help.

Sometimes they just need lube--any old waterproof grease, liberally applied. Sometimes they're so rusty that you need a judicious bit of filling or sandpapering. Once in Uruguay I tried to ride my bike with the disk lock in place, which bent my caliper so badly I had to detach it completely because I was wearing through pads every hundred miles. That took a proper mechanic to fix, a thousand miles down the road in Brazil.

Ok, the pins are like new, but will put som lubricate on and see if it helps.

DON'T use normal grease(mineral based) on brake hydraulic components.
It reacts with the rubber components and will cause the seals and boots to swell.
Use RUBBER grease which is castor based and specifically designed for brake hydraulic components.

That'll teach you to listen to mechanical advice from me!

I don't worry about what form of grease I use on slide pins, but I suppose that's because I trust it not to migrate onto anything rubber. Probably best you do as Bobmech says.

You should be able to figure out a way to manipulate your caliper to see how it self-adjusts laterally, therefore see if anything is interfering. At least, that was true for me. Unlike electronics or fuel systems, all the wear issues happen out in the open where you can see them.
