Hi All,

I have an 1988 XT600 Tenere.

I am about to change the tyres on the bike, both front and rear.

My question is which tyres do people recommend, the bike is mostly to be used on the road for the time being, with the occasional venture down green lanes.

Any help would be appreciated.

My choice are Michelin T63 front and rear ...have a good profile on road and behave very well off-road (very good on hard terrain , bad on mud) last about 5000 to 7000 kms ...need to be a little more careful on wet asphalt respect eg. Metzelers Enduro 3, but when dry bends are impressive !
