TTR600RE EXHAUST

WHICH WOULD BE THE BEST AFTER MARKET EXHAUST BACK BOX TO ALLOW THE BIKE TO BREATH FREE'ER, AND WOULD I HAVE TO RE JET???

Arrow paris dakar,it's stainless steel so will not fall apart on a long trip, re packable, 2kg, not too loud, and has a removeable end piece for rallies and ear-ache.
I looked at all the options and picked the arrow, £140 at the Ally Pally bike show from demon tweeks.

Leo Vince "new FIM" exhaust, main jet#168, drilled two 50mm holes in the top of the airbox, snorklectomy, one half turn out on the pilot jet ( to decrease popping during decel.)
End result: goes like a raped ape with no hesitation like it had originally.
Future mod: may raise the needle jet one notch

Hi I have this pipe on my tt600re 2003 the only other mod i've done is drill some extra holes in the air box an desnorkelfied it.
I'd like to rejet it in another post you say you upjeted to 158 and 168 on this post.
I don't suppose you could clarify the situation for and explain where to source the jet and how to install it.
I was thinking about getting the jetting kit and dna airfilter from www.offtheroad.de is this what you purchased.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Leigh,
after a 4,500 miles trip around europe, last summer, my TTRE original exhaust is unpleseantly noisier, especially in acceleration.
The bike has now 10,000 miles, and I am thinking of getting a new exhaust.
This Arrow paris dakar sounds like a good option, especially if it doesn't fall apart on the long stretches.
Is the Arrow's noise very different from the original one (mine is a 2003 reg)? noisier?
where could i get the "Arrow" from?

How often do you normally change the exhaust?

Thank you so much for your help
Diego
