TT600 Wiring Issues
Hi all, this is my first post. GREAT site BTW!!
I have always ridden a 84' TT600. Last year, my bike was stolen, and i had to go out and find the same bike, and finally did not long ago. After replacing several mechanical parts, i came to the task of putting on all the wiring and electrical components. The bike was missing the Voltage regulator and the ignition coil. I have a yamaha XT550 from around the same year that bit the dust a few years back, and i was wondering, can i use the ignition coil off of the XT in place of the missing one on my TT? As for the voltage regulator, i assume that i will have to pick up a used one since, as far as i know, i cannot use it on the TT(correct me if im wrong). One last thing, does anyone have a wiring diagram for this year of TT? If at all posible i would like to avoid purchasing the manual. Any advice that you guys can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a ton!! |
