TT600 Oil tank on 86 XT600
 

Does anyone know of a thread or has pics of putting a TT600 oil tank on an 86 XT600?

Moving it to the battery box location gives better protection for it and takes the tire size limitation away not to mention a better center of gravity. I have a reply from another forum and it is very do-able. I have purchased used tank and oil lines on eBay. You lose the battery, but can go to a battery eliminator or to a LI-PO battery and stuff it anywhere then move the rectifier/regulator.

I always worry about the tank being damaged, not happened yet but could.
