Torque settings 3AJ
Does anyone know the torque settings for the bolts that hold the cylinder to the crank case. I've got two "special" nuts on the left hand side, (these are an alloy about 60mm long with a 12mm AF top),and 2 14mmAF nuts on the right hand side. Please help, the clymer manual talks about 8 & 10mm nuts, so things have changed since then.
Regards

Possibly the 8 & 10 mm is the thread size (and they are measuered as the outside diameter). Most nuts are about 4 mm larger than the thread so that would be 12 & 14 .... AF ...

Thanks Frank, but all four studs are M10 x 1.25 (Metric fine). The heads are different sizes through, in true Jap tradition.
