Screen for XT 600 E

Hi all
Here is my new windscreen :

it's a screen for a BMW 650 Dakar (Single cilinder model 2000-03)

Just drilled the headlight cowl and hold it with 3 5mm bolt's and some rubber washers and bolts

Still need to relocate the blinkers as they foul the screen in the original positon

what you think ???

Looks good... Lucky fit.

I wonder if one will fit my Dominator and XR650L

update

It works !!!
Here is the final look with turn signals mounted

These are the brackets that I made to hold the screen and to reposition the turn signals, the curved bit is for clearing the front brake pipe :

Still need to paint them black and paint the screw heads black also

As for performance, this weekend we had 15ºC and a sunny day and so I went for a spin , and while it's no Goldwing,it does work, you feel much less wind pressure on the chest area, and the stream flow of air is just a bit to high for me (i'm about 180 cm tall) so I think I will lower it and/or tilt it back a bit

As for now i'm happy with it, and looking at the bike without the screen now, seams strange .

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
