hello,
I want to lace an 18" alloy rim (genuine XT)in place of the rusty chrome 17" rim. But, as the alloy rims were fitted to drum brake hubs, does anyone know that if I ask Hagon for an 18"XT spokeset whether they will be the right length for my disc brake hub?

The XT600E changed in 1990 to a 17" chrome rear rim. The 1989 model had an 18" aluminum rear rim, and I think the hub was the same (i.e. disc brake, fixing, etc...). It may be worth checking some of the parts lists to double check?

Fyi, I have an '88 3AJ Tenere which has an 18" ali rim with a disc brake, so it is worth checking this period.
