XT600 Kickstand

Hey guys, I was wondering if someone could do me a favour and post a picture or two of their kickstand. Just bought an '84 XT600 and the kickstand is screwed up (when you put it down, it ends up pointing towards the front of the bike).

Just want to see how everything should look on a proper bike,ideally I'd like to see a picture of the kickstand up and down, but beggars can't be choosers! Can't seem to zoom in enough with good quality to see on any pictures I've found

I've got this picture laying around, doesn't show much, but its a start. Its a 2003 xt600e.

Pretty sure that's perfect, actually, thanks! Mine is bent at around a 60 degree angle just below the nut there. So if the 84 is the same, guess I need to bend it back or get a new one. Thanks

Pics don't show that clear what your asking, but the 84 bikes stands do point forward more than my 88 bike, im guessing its from wear though.

A lot of guys stand on the bike when kicking it & its known to shag the stand doing it, the 88 has electric start & that's probaly why its at a diffrent angle (more closer to 90°) but the stand itself should be straight.

But you can see ive had to prop up some of the bikes where the stand is worn from standing on it whilst kicking.
