I'm sorry but I sent you the wrong picture of our code 1239/02 for Yamaha XT 600 96-03. In attachment you can find the truth picture of the seat cover in blue with black sides. So if you buy on our web site the 1239/02 you will receive this one.

"

They are expensive but well worth it Vander, ive got a spare 3AJ seat sitting on there shelf in the US right now, when ive got the funds im getting a blue suede one made up with Gauloises written down the side in white.

I want it real deep like the factory Yamaha`s from back in the day.

Mezo.

YAMAHA XT600 84-89 GRIPPER SEAT COVER XT 550 NEW | eBay

Also does anyone know the differences between the "generations" in the seats?

Also how would one put these on? Sorry for the dumb questions...

Well.. the XT600E from 1990 to 1995 are all the same but the seat changed in 1996 up until 2003 when they stopped making the 600E..

As far as the rest, I have no idea :X

Yeah I know the 2nd generation (90-95) and 3rd generation (96-03) are different (I've slightly looked into upgrading mine). I'll email the guy and figure out if it'll fit or not.

What about installing them? Are you guys doing this yourself or taking it to a place? Any idea how much it'd cost?

My previous seat was done by an old guy that lives around here.

I haven't done seat covers yet..
Would like to try someday but doubt it'll be with this one next one.

4PT & 2KF seatcovers.

Hi.
Single colour & 2-tone 4PT covers are in the pipeline - sorry for the wait!
I only start to sell my covers once I've had the first samples back and fitted a few myself.
I have to buy lots of seats - (and there are more colour/logo combinations of 4PT than any other XT600 seat) - send them off for patterns to be made and fitted, get them back, check them out and fit some...etc, etc...All takes ages!
The moment I have stock, they'll be in the ebay shop.
2KF also - I wasn't 100% happy with the original pattern, so I'm having new ones made.
New foams coming soon too as many early 34l/55W seats have collapsed or become very soft.
Best wishes.
David.

Glad to know you're on to this David!

When you get the samples, could ya post some pictures of them so we can have a peak?
