Search left side cover fo an '83 600XTZ Ténéré
 

Hello All,

I own an '83 XT600Z Ténéré in mint condition, and I got my left side cover stolen last week while visiting a friend.
Could anyone tell me where-eventually- I could find some spares (used or not) for this bike model or provide me with the exact Part Number in order to replace this one?

They turn up on ebay fairly regularly - make sure your search is world wide too.

Any chance you or anyone else might have its part number (may be molded in the cover?)

They probably do, but if you want it new you might have to backorder it first... In your bike's book you should have the part numbers stated somewhere and go to your yamaha dealer and ask for a price quote...(not too cheap surely)...

If you find out the part number just post it here and I'll try to find it online for you...

My Owner's manual does not mention any P/N for anything actually!

It might clean up - it looks like it's been very badly painted.

Yes, Yamaha still carry this - I replaced my 34L ones a year or so ago. part number is either 34L217111002X or 34L21721002X (I can't tell which is R or L from my printout).

Thanks Tom, mine is not a 1VJ but a 34L, some years before (and that's the problem!) this side cover can't fit mine.

Frenchied are usually nicknamed as frog or froggies so I like it!
Thes P/Ns should help me to locate dealers for my missing one.
I don't know if yours are plain white or blue but it doesn't relly matter

Those part numbers are white with black panels, just like your photo (without the XT-600 sticker)

Frogs - yeah, that's why I chose the name, though I'm actually a Rosbif
