Rotor Problem

Im currently inspecting my starter bearings as i have a electric starting problem so i need to take off the rotor. Now i have invested in a nice shiney new rotor puller:thumbup1: but the nut securing it im having problems removing, now it maybe a silly question but is the thread normal or reversed?

Ive heard these are notoriously difficult to remove, it says in the manual to apply rear brake, put into 5th gear and remove nut. But its quite stiff and as soon as i get some real pressure on it the clutch plates slide!

Am i being a div? or do i need to invest in an impact wrench to remove it?

Any help appreciated!

Probably better with a rattle gun, tried everything with my clutch and broke the basket but came off easily with a rattle gun..

rattle gun 1+

Also broke my clutch basket once and hopefully never again!
Only if I had the rattle gun before I actually broke it...

I put it back on and off a couple of times now, rattle gun only! And a new weird shim that it has which helps lock it in place...
