Rear shock springs


A silly question i know, but can anyone tell me if the spring colour on the rear shock means any thing [ie red heavy duty]

Colour means nothing at all. Spring capacity/rating is determined by the type of steel used & diameter of the "wire" used. I believe that the overall length of the spring & the distance between each turn also has an affect on the springs performance.
