questions about XTZ600

Hi,

these maybe silly questions. I'm a bit of a novice though so any help much appreciated.

1). should a 1987 XTZ600 be run on leaded or unleaded fuel in Europe ?

2). is the Clymer maual XT600 TT600 the correct manual or is there one specifically for an XTZ600 ?

3). how can I tell what size tank my bike has ?

sorry of all the answers are obvious !

cheers,

Simon

1) unleaded, 91 octan will do for normal use
2) there is one in german language, but clymer is o.k. (e-start is not included and wiring is different). or try to get the yamaha workshop manual.
3) drain the tank and take it to a fuel station

regards
klaus

1 - run without problems on unleaded , more : leaded gasoline is no longer avalaible in EU.
2 - same as Klaus
3 - the capacity may vary ..but roughly : XTZ first and second series, without e-starter 30/20 litres ; e-starter models 24 litres
