I tried an XT600 and an xr600, this weekend, both large tanks etc..

Both engines are standard but the XR had an aftermarket CRD exhaust where the XT was standard.

The XR was or at least felt twice as powerful, is this the case? I didn't check sproket sizes but compared the XT felt flat, any one else done this?
