piston ring profile
 

Ok Next question,got the piston ring set from yamaha and there are 2 piston rings and the oil scraper.The 2 rings have a different profile,one is square section and the other has a small curve...question is which one goes to the top? I think the square section one goes tot he top and the curved one in the middle......can any one help to confirm this?......the rings go with the numbers go to the top so I know which way up they go but cant find anything in the service manual about the ring profiles.:helpsmilie:
