Parts interchange between 1984 Tenere and 1993 XT600E
Ok I am thinking of purchasing a 1984 Tenere but I am not familiar with this model.
In general, are there substantial differences between these 2 models in terms of engine and chassis parts? I have quite a lot of engine and chassis parts left over after rebuilding my old XT600E and wonder whether they can be used to fix the Tenere if the need arise.
Can the kickstarter mechanism from the 84 Tenere be fitted to the 93 XT600E without much modification?
