output shaft
Tried to find one on e bay but no luck yet,was rebuilding my 86 tenere 600 when on ispection of the output shaft I see the front sprocket teeth are cracked......don,t know yet if I can have it repaired but the yam dealer here in nz said there arenon in stock world wide.....
I ahave a kickstart shaft but it is half an inch too short as it seems the electric start model has a longer shaft with a spacer on as opposed to just a washer. If anyone has one kicking around their garage I would be willing to buy it and pay postage to get it here. Any help and ridicule is more than welcome...... ps the short kick start shaft is 6 and 3/4 inches long and the electric start model shaft is 7 and 1/4 inch long.I think a later model shaft would also fit even if I have to change the front sprocket locking system.... |
