Outfitting my XT600 for an RTW.

Any and all info on outfitting my XT would be greatly appreciated.

few modifications....
- large plastic tank (Acerbis 20 litres is enough)
- Strong rear rack for baggage connected to passenger pegs (homemade)
- Good new monoshock and progressive fork springs
- Spare clutch & gas cables fastened to originals
- if not present Aluminium engine bashplate - better if extended
- Small tool box fixed to frame (better if key-locked) eg. on side opposite to muffler

An advice : always reduce the luggage - normally one always takes much more things (particularly vestiary) that really needs...

There is a HUGE amount of info within the XT forum. Read every post from as far back as you can, listen to the problems people have had and the solutions they have found. And go from there to find a solution that's best for you...

What model of XT do you have? What year? Where are you going, and when?

I think you're in the right place to find some answers though...
