Old Tenere Fairing fixings
OK I have a 96 twin headlamp XTZ 660 and the fairing/side panels is a royal PITA to take off and worse to put back on. The top hats/ rubber squishy things are absolute cack. Do ... as I would presume these fixings are used on other models of Teneres and Super Tens... other people have issue with them and is there a better fix ???
I bought some others by Motrax but they are so small they dont really grip and theres also the issue of a small allen type head that if you do get it done up tight... next time you touch it, it will probably round off !!

Its a common problem & a question asked many times.
In short i think you have to live with it im afraid? ive not heard of a better solution yet. Mezo.
