oil for tt600

hi, can anyone one tell me how much oil to put into a tt600, 1983 and 84 models, and which oil they found the best

2.4L with filter change, 2L without. 20w40 only. You may not be able to fill it completely in one go. Kick it over and see if you can slurp some oil out of the tank.

Once finished, run for 15 min, idle 1 min, and measure with bike in a level position.

thanks for the reply. we've been using 20w50 - is this ok? would this make the clutch plate slip? regards jason
