Oil coolers

I am thinking of fitting an oil cooler to my TT600RE and wondered whether it was worth it or not. Any opinions on the pros and cons i.e. reduced oil pressure and the chance of leaking oil?

What are you planning on doing with the bike that you feel you need a cooler? With the modern technology in oil it's not necessary unless you're planning on working the engine really hard. I think a better option is to have a temp gauge and rest the motor if it ever gets to that stage. I used a 2CV cooler on my 600e for Africa along with a dip-stick type temp gauge. I could forward some pics if that would help.
