non starter
I have an xt600 3AJ while turning engine over with starter motor there is a clicking from around the battery aera i think it is the solenoid and the engine dont turn over very strongly and wont start it is a new battery but not sure if it is charging propley. how can i test the solenoid and alternator. cheers

connect the bike to a well-charged car battery.
if this doesn't help, check/change the starter relais. regards klaus
