I got very orgasmic watching that video. Especially the Zebra and enduro versions.. Lovely !!

I can't say im happy with where they have put the radiator or the electrical gutts.

It will take a very beafy guard indeed to stop your radiator smashing in a topple. Who the hell thought of that one !!

Nice low placed engine for centre of gravity though.

1200cc Parrallel twin huh.. hmm, that will be a very smooth road bike. It guess it will feel VERY much like the TDM's..

You can tell this was made as a road bike first but still a lovely looking, practical and hopefully reliable alternative to the BMW and KTM's

Is it true that it comes with a £13,400 price tag? :eek3:

AliBaba 24 Feb 2010 23:56

Sad to say I liked the photoshop-version in the 'preview-video' a lot better then the real one.

wolfzero 25 Feb 2010 00:55

13 grand i could do a hell of a lot of bike for that money.
one old tenere fit a trx 850 motor bored an tuned, ohlins front and rear and a longer swingarm. = enough change to do a lap of the world.

HOLEY CRAP !!!

That's DOUBLE what the 660 Tenere costs..

I could actually buy 4-5 excellent condition, low mileage bikes for that.

Hmmm let me think. If I had £14,000 to spend on a bikes.

DRZ400S £1500
Africa Twin £2500
XT660Z £4000
KTM 690 SMC £3500
TDM900 £2500

I could get all those bikes (in great condition) for the price of one new 1200 Tenenre !!!

Looks like Yamaha totally missed the point with their "Tenere" badge once again.

:innocent:

Very dissapointing.

It's the lardy love child of Mr Honda's Varadero and the whore daughter of Madam BMUU.

Yamaha are taking the fight straight to Munich, but it's hard to tell the contenders apart.... other than the Yamaha ride will need a training course in that new dash - looks like a PSP that's been dropped!

Very let down, I thought this could be a real on/off road bike, not just another shiney 'adventure' bike to occupy the carparks of Biker cafe's

Mony 63 25 Feb 2010 10:46

Dissapointing tooo...

over 260 kg(dry weight 230 kg)....seems like new Varadero on the floor...:oops2: and the price waoooooo

Simon
