New proud parent

Morning All! V proud to announce my new ownership of a lovely XT600E
Having looked for a long time I found just the one and enjoyed a 500 mile trip to pick her up and rise her home on Sat... now the fun part.

I will be scouring the site for info but if anyone is happy to share links and help save me some rummaging it'd be much appreciated.

I am looking for:

-Best xt600 specific forum
-Pattern for homemade engine guard (or recommended after market options)
-Best after market luggage rack
-Best hand guards
-Recommended reads (XT600E specific books / blogs / maintenance manuals)

Many thanks... and if you're headed to HUBB UK see you there!

Hey - thanks guys! Good point Xtrock,

Shes an 03 registered from new in the UK in 05. MPH indicator on clock (built in not stuck on) but odo is kms. Apparently dealer import form Greece. Strange story but seemed to hang together - have seen a few similar stories on other bikes for sale etc

Bike has 5000 KM on it and in as good a condition as you can expect for something ridden / owned for so long but well cared for. Stoked with the find.

All pointers to gear / ride outs etc v much appreciated (PS am based in Gloucestershire)...

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events (22 this year!); we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, the HUBB or to receive the e-zine. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
