hello, i've been reading the forum and notice that you all have alot of info on this site. i just picked up a 1986 xt600 that i plan on converting to a vintage supermoto.

something along the lines of this (except streetlegal):

i picked up an old IT600 rear wheel and i'm going to use the aluminum rim from that (17 x 2.50) for the front = cost me $40 shipped. i picked up a sweet 17 x 4.5 supermoto rim for $100 shipped so now i just need to send in the hubs and rims to Buchanan rims and get them spoked and laced. that's going to be the expensive part but i'll post pics when it's done.
