Need meassurements for xt600e swingarm parts.
Hey, I need some new stuff for my swingarm, but yamaha prices are through the roof.
I need part no 93315-31750 and 90387-1206D which is a bearing and a collar for the swingarm. If you have the part of the link which bolts to the frame, its where the top of that part, meets the other part. I have a lot of play due to a dying bearing, and I think the collar is worn out aswell. I would really appreciate if someone could provide me with meassures so I can buy parts and/or have them made. Thx

How much is to much Jens?
The bearing is US$11.00 & the collar is US$8.00 + PP My collar was OK it was the bearing that had failed through lack of grease. Boats.net is where i get my stuff, they was wanting $90 for the same bearing from my local Yammy dealer here in OZ. Mezo.

If you have the bearing out and still have it, you should be able to see numbers stamped on the bearings. With this information one should be able to purchase the same bearing from a bearing manufacturer at a lot less than half the price of an oem. Let me know. Socks |

Mezo, thats not bad, compared to the prices i get quoted for here.
The problem is, the bike is my everyday commuter, so it would be trouble for me to remove the swingarm and links, take out bearing and collar, and go search for them in my local shops, if I cant get replacement parts right away. Thats why the meassures (or bearing no.) would be awesome. Actually, I really dont understand why that bearing isnt supplied with a greasenipple, and the same for the swingarm bearings. That would make the whole thing bulletproof. Some of the earlier model Xt/xtz's had 1-2 more greasenipples than mine. I might look into fitting some when i take it apart. I guess the easy thing is just to order from boats, that could have saved me over 50% for a hollow bolt to use with a greasenipple at an other occation. ![]() I really cant remember how the collar looks, it shoudnt be damaged, but it would suck to order a bearing, and take the whole thing apart, to save money equal to a couple of brewskies at the bar. I hate paying overprice for parts just because it comes from a motorcycle dealer. ![]() Thx a lot so far. Last edited by Jens Eskildsen; 9 Apr 2011 at 10:36. |

The bolt should have a grease nipple on the end, the collar has a hole & groove in it from memory to allow the grease to get in to the needle bearing.

Uh yeah, I can se the parts on Boats also lists the special bolt and greasenipple for that bearing. Youre bike looks truly awesome Mezo, allways worth another look.
![]() This is adding up Went to town last night, and spend money that could have given me all the new parts i need for the linkage-system. ![]() But thoose parts wouldn't give me this massive headache, so I guess I made a smart move...No wait.... ![]() I guess I'll just have to find out exactly what parts I need, dont wanne disassemble the whole thing, only to find out i need a small part for a couple of bucks. |

Sometimes the bolts are worn away Jens, sometimes (if they have been greased regularly) are OK, you wont know until you pull it apart & have a peek.
I wouldn't go blowing you dough until you have had a look, its only 2-3 hrs work to pull it all out. Remove the grease nipples from the bolt & use a toothpick and degrease them & blow them out, my nipples were full of grit & sand. And while your there if the bolts are good clean them out inside (where the grease travels) Mezo.
