My gearbox feels strange

Hello,
I ride a '94 E with a '03 engine.
The engine came from a crashed bike, good condition with around 13k km on the clock if i remember correctly.
3 months and 5k km later i get lots of rattling (especially in the morning)
some clutch drag, there is some oil leak somewere near the starter and last couple of days the gears wont change without effort.
I have to push the lever and keep it up,then i hear something like:
krrrrr-KLONG and then i know the next gear is in..
It feels like the teeth wont slide inside each other but rather hit their edges and go out again.

Just to start..

First check the clutch adjustment and stop it dragging as this won't help the gear changing.

You sure you still got enough oil in there if it's leaking?

If it's been crashed is the gear lever still tight on the shaft?

Thank you for replying.
The oil level is ok as the leak is like a couple of drops overnight,
The drag i dont know what to do about,as i already stretched the lever all i could and its still there,If the problem is in the selector,do i need to split the cases to fix it?

You can just remove the side cover on that side of the engine to get at the selector mechanism. If the problem is with the selector forks or gears you will need to split the crankcases.

Try and get a manual, have a search on this site for downloads
