One of the requirements of SAE oil specs is that same classification oils (Eg Sg and SG) MUST be able to mix without problems ...even with different gradations!

Hi,
I was just curious how you came to be desperately low on oil?
Where abouts did you go, from Oz myself you see.

Hi,
XTZ 660 are well known oil consumption bike! Try to use shyntetic blend or even mineral oil with gradation 15W-50, 20W-50, or so, but not less than 10W. That would rapidly decrease oil consumption. And always check oil with warm engine after at least, 20 km of ride!!!
