"Making" a XT660Z

Greeted One and All!

How much more exensive or cheaper will it be to "convert" a XT660R (new) into a Z? Compared with buying a new Z.

Pro's Con's?

Im in Madagascar and the limited fuel capacity and the cans that run underneath the bike are my major concerns.

Thanks
J
