Leo Vince exhaust for 1993 XT600E

Hi,

Does anyone have experience with this exhaust system? Most in this forum mentioned Motad header and Arrow silencer but these are not road-legal here. Will the Leo Vince exhaust (titanium #3966E or alloy #3982E) for XT600 (1995-2000) fit the 1993 XT600E? Are they full system with header and silencer? Is #3966E full titanium or just the silencer wrapped with titanium? Another Leo Vince exhaust for XT600 (1995-2000) is #3965. Does anyone have information on this as to the material, full system and whether it will fit the 1993 XT600E? Any good or bad points about Leo Vince, as well as rejetting? All information are very much appreciated. Thanks and have a nice day.

Cheers,
tom.

Hey! I almost 100% sure that the silencer will fit your '93 XT600E because if you compare both new with the older XT600 E like ours (mine is from 1990) the only difference in the frame is that the newer models the exhaust isn't bolted on the frame above the passengers right foot. instead it curves in a little to avoid the round tube that now connects to the top of the frame and only bolts on the top next to the turn signs...

Hope I helped.

Any question about what I said just reply or PM me ;P

Vando

Have an XT600E 1990, same model as yours. Installed alu version few months ago, had an Arrow PD before. Replaced to avoid problems as not Road Legal. Forget other models, are for other bikes like TTR or TT. Titanium costs one hundred euros more, and should be only the silencer cover different.
No rejetting at all, have snorkel removed and replaced with a metal grill, foam filter.
X3 is good sells also with four different dbkiller in the box, two for america with spark arrestor and two without, of them two open and two silenced.

X3 is good a nice sound (actually is a bit louder than PD fully silenced) and to be legal is important... difference in power: i'm truly convinced that any exhaust can give a real power increase, something you can really see with a cronograph.. is mainly a matter of sound in your ears. Weight 4 kg less than original, and probably will be less hot than original letting gas out easier.

Conclusion i'm fully satisfied. Bought a second for my other bike.

I ordered the street-legal alloy Leo Vince from kedo but was told production had ceased. I ended up buying Motad header and Laser Produro exhaust. Both came too late as I was relocated and the bike is still in Singapore waiting to be fixed. I recently bought another XT600 (1987 model) here, looks clean but not running. Will only know what needs to be fixed when the bike arrives. Thanks. Cheers.
