Hi there,

I recently booked my 85 monoshock in for a rebuild. They aren't rebuildable, but many good shops will be able to do the conversion and rebuild them. Just make sure they use geniune seals and rubbers. Also, just check there is no rust on the crome shaft or you may have real probs.

A good shop should also check your height, weight, type of riding you do etc. to ensure the correct weight oil and presure is used on the shock.

If your really keen you can get the spring sandblasted and powder coated.

Good luck.
