Jetting

4PT engine but 3TB engine number, open exhaust, gas flowed head and fairly free intake in my SRX400 frame. Carbs are the YDIS 26mm but I'm not sure which year, the specs as below.

Primary Carburettor
Main Jet = #145
Pilot Jet = #46
Nozzle = V00
Needle = 5C41 3/5
Piston = 5.5 cutaway

Secondary Carburettor
Main Jet = #110
Nozzle = 00
Needle = 5Y10 3/5

Any assistance in ball park jetting figures? She seems to be little rich, will try lowering the needles and see how she feels.

But for the main circuit which jets should I get hold of? XT parts or aftermarket - if available?

Whats the usual pattern when jetting bwetween the two different carbs?

Any help at all would be really appreciated.

Cheers!

My xt600e with opened airbox, foamfilter, oversized downpipes and laser produro ran to rich.

Stock jets are 130/120, and I've installed 140/130 and raised the needles.

It was to lean in the lover rpm (dynorun) so i've installed a 48 idle jet, and it was pretty rich in the top end, so i wnet with 140/120 but its still a little rich, so im gonna go 132/120.

The middle area (needles) was spot on.

Interesting! Thanks.
Im curious what jets you used, did you get via yamaha or did you use mikuni/keihin? Im also trying to find out how they measure the size of the standard jets to help with buying different ones. Can only find comparisons of mikuni and keihin.

Bought some from KEDO - Performance Products dont know the make of them, but im pretty sure there was a yamaha logo on the bag they were in.
