Installing new Intake Manifolds?

Hi again,

I just acquired some new intake manifolds and orings for my 86 xt600.

When installing them should I install them dry? or should I seal them up to the block with some high temp silicone/gasket goo?

Or something else?

Thanks,
Pawlie

Yes,

There's two jokes of O-rings there but use some silicone too just to be sure.

Smile

all you need to seal it is a bit of wd 40 or any oil realy, never put a seal in dry or it will split, by using a bit of oil you will protect it and create a hydrolic seal.
good luck.
