inline fuse holder & power socket bracket

I need to insert an 1A inline fuse. Any suggestions as to the best all-weather housing to use ?
Halfords to a watertight one

I was going to place the fuse towards the GPS end of the cable as it is more accessible than near the battery and also I am running out of space near the battery. Is this a bad idea ?
Bad idea - if the cable frays anywhere along its path to the battery's positive you have a higher risk of it shorting - Place the fuse closest possible to the battery's +
If out of space- consider fitting a separate Centec Fuse panel

When I ride wind swirls around my head making a hell of a noise. I have changed the angle of the screen and tried to raise it ever so slightly....we wait and see if that works.
Having fitted the screen, my power socket bicycle bracket no longer works...not enough space at the correct angle...etc...on the handlebars. Any recomendations as where to buy a bracket for this purpose ?
Consider drilling any plastic part to fit
Consider simple jubilee clip around handlebar and make a bracket

The fuse is there to protect the wiring, not to protect the item, since that will (generally) not suffer if the wire shorts. However if the unit has an internal short circuit fault the wire will catch fire...
