They were on the bike already. From what I've seen the original D.I.D. rims have a habit of cracking round the spokes so they may have been changed for that reason.

I check mine from time to time, the tension on the spokes and such. They're fine, just a tad rusty.

Hiya tenereless tom - i don't spose you have an early front mudguard in your cache of bits? I'm looking to let my 1VJ get a bit more air.

If it comes to rootling in garages, i can pop round as i'm only in otley
