Hi, first of all i would like to say that i dont know much about bike mechanics but anyway the problem is simple. I changed the rear tyre on my 89 600 tenere and after replacing it correctly(feeling very pleased with myself for that) i got on it to take if for a ride to find it wont start. it turns over ok but no go.
It was left left overnight balancing on the stand, front tyre and box under the back foot rest.
what have i done, any advice would be appreciated, i will find the problem eventually but i do stress eventually.

Check that you haven't damaged the side stand cut-out switch or wiring.
