Help with modifying my TTR600RE

Hi, I'm looking to kit my TTR600RE 2004 out with a tail rack, cases and larger pertrol tank, possibly an Acerbis. Does any one know where I can purchase these items or have any experience of doing the same. Thank you for any responses in advance. Any pics would be good too.

Cheers,
Matt

not sure of it helps, but i'm doing similar to an xt600e 2001.

I bought an acerbis 23l tank from racespec.co.uk £189 (5% discount online). Very easy to fit.

Rack and panniers is where i'm struggling. Well rack in particlular as there does not seem to be too much around for my bike. I couldn't make contact with EIBC.

So i bit the bullet and ordered Touratech rack and panniers at great expense about 4 weeks ago. But they cannot give me a date when the rack will be made!!!! I may have to cancell that order and pay the extra for MetalMule.

Does anyone know who else supplies decent racks Yamahas?

Pictures and info here about the TTR600 http://www.moto-hike.co.uk/moto-bikes.htm
I have seen a TTR600 with a centre stand

I see in the Kedo cataloge they have Hepco and Becker tail rack and side pannier racks for the TTR600.

here is the link of an RE I just bought all set up:

http://john.rushworth.com/pics/ttr/index.htm

CRD bash plate, tank and other "goodies"
from "off the road"

www.off-the-road.de
(they also have an english page)

David Lambeth can supply all of the stuff (I think) and prep the bike for you

www.davidlambeth.co.uk

although not cheap is better "value" than going to a dealer or a "Yam specialist"

any more details feel free to ask

I know its a bit late after your postings but have you sorted out the bits you need. I am still unsure what to do with my bike. I have the TT600R fittied with Renthal Dakar high bars, Larger bash plate from off the road, 21 ltr tank, full metal mule rack systerm, and a set of home made allu panners.

I may sell the parts off or advertise the complete bike.

Hello, I have an Acerbis 39 litre tank that will fit a TT600. Its in good condition, uses original mounting points. Let me know if your interested.
