Exclamation HELP! Part wanted in UK for 3AJ Tenere!

Due to unforeseen circumstances involving the loose rear wheel of my bike and my next door neighbours reversing prowess, I now need a new rear wheel for my 1991 3AJ Tenere... I was going to get the rear rebuilt, but have got off the phone and its a 5 week turnaround.. I don't have that long.. so I have phoned partfinder, but I thought there might be someone with a spare, who may be able to part with it for cash, or if cash isn't good enough you can have my kitten or girlfriend, im that desperate!!!!

Hi,

I have used Central Wheel Components and they are excellent (ask for Jem) for rebuilding my wheels on another bike with new rims.

I am not sure they have D.I.D. rims in stock though (if you wish to remain standard - or indeed need a new rim).

I hope to find a front D.I.D. rim (21 x 1.85) in the near future, so if you find a source, please let me know.

Fyi, CWC also offer an "as you wait" service (at a premium), if you can get to them? I guess Hagon (in Essex) are quite near to you?

Good luck,
Geoff

Thankyou Bolla, and to those that suggested david lambeth, it was CWC that said 5 week turnaround, I'm going to look at one on sunday (thanks bolla) if thats good I'm sorted if not, The wheel in sweden, is it good? I wonder how much Air Carriage would be... David Lambeth said he could sell me a rebuilt one for £150, so that's an option! Thanks everyone!... And Hagon seem good and close... from No options to loads... I love this forum!

If you are really stuck I could lend you a wheel until you get a replacement I am in North London.
I would need the wheel back by May 08.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
