xt600 shift forkshorks

hey there i was just wondering if anyone could shed any light into whether the earlier xt shift forks are the same as the later xt shift forks? i have a 94 elec start xt 2kf i think? and have the motor apart to replace, the ones i can source are a full immaculate set out of a 86 model, ive checked the part numbers between the 90 model up to the 96 model and they appear to be the same i just cant find a parts catalog earlier then 90 to confirm? any help would be great!,

Thanks!

They are the same throughout the XT line , I've rebuilt both motors . The shift drum is the same as well , even into the 660 motors.
