Help! Oil leaking.

My 93 XT600E just started leaking oil at the sensor for neutral. I tightened it up but to no avail. This is serious because I have always bragged how that my 93 XT did not leak a drop of oil. :(

Is that normal? Anyone ever seen that before?

Hi! you sure it's from the neutral sensor and not from somewhere else maybe a gasket?

Common

problem with these switches; they start leaking oil between the steel bolt and the plastic core. Non-hardening gasket is your friend, or buy a new one.

Just ordered a new one for about US $35.00 Hopefully that will take care of it. I can't stand a motor leaking oil.

I dried it up real good before seeing where the oil was coming from. Now my new used plastic gas tank is leaking, this is one leaky week! :stormy: :( I just had my gas tank sent to the welder.
