Help!!!!! It wont start
I have a 95 xt600. I still have problems with no power to the starter motor. I've tryed directly attaching the positive battery terminal to the starter motor and the starter will crank. but if i use the starter switch nothing happens. the neutral light dims a little and thats it. If i flick the kill switch off the neutral light brightens. I've tried disconnecting the sidestand swicth to no avail. I've tryed putting it in and out of gear and holding the clutch in when pushing the starter. I'm at a loss what else could it be. Is it possible to damage the starter relay or something similiar??
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
It does sound like the starter relais. You could try to test the output (with a light-bulb) of the relais when you start. Maarten ------------------ - www.maartensworld.tmfweb.nl -
