Header life
 

My 1990 xt600a's header pipes are looking rather beat. Are these double walled? When do they need to be replaced? Can you tell by how deep the pits are? Don't wanna' get stuck in the middle of nowhere!

FIRMLY poke and proball the suspect areas with a pointy steel object. If it bends or breaks, its toast.

Replacement Stainless headers are about £100.00 and will last longer than the rest of the bike ! :)
