Handguards for Yamaha TDM 850
 

A friend of mine owns a 1993 TDM 850. He has expressed a need for some handguards, so we tried fitting a pair of Acerbis Rally Pro I had lying around. They will not fit as-is, but I understand they can be made to fit by drilling and tapping the bar end weights.

One option, which I would have preferred, is to buy a new handlebar.

Are there other alternatives that can be made to fit without drilling?

change the part that enters into the handlebar with a screw that screws onto the handlebar weight threads inside the handlebar :cool4:

Or just buy the handlebars you want :innocent:
