Getting seats re-cushioned

I've just sold a Corbin seat, after buying the wrong model (!).

I am doing 4 months across C & S America, and suspect getting a better seat would be a good idea. Has anyone any experience in a UK company that can either remodel my current seat, or supply a replacement to make things a little more comfy.

Any contact information would be fantastic.

Thanks
Will

give bumwraps in bognor regis a go, email them at bumwraps@tiscali.com (if thats still their address, or find the ad in bike mags, a pic of a big pink bum)

they do many different vinyls some with textures, they will cut off and send you a sample set, and foamwork. just tell them what you want. ive had 2 bikes done now, one a new cover and the other time i just printed a pic of a gunfighter seat out of the corbin website and said "make me that". i was very pleased with both jobs.

I have heard good reports of these people: www.motorcycleseats.co.uk - (Gloucestershire).
They offer a number of fillings.

hi,

In India and Nepal they do a realy good job on re-covering and re-shape seats. And very cheap. Maybe you can also do it in ca and sa. It will safe you a lot of money...

There are money things you can save on in other, cheaper countries and the quality is as good as at home. Once i gave a design for sidepanniers to an indian Bagmaker/tailor and he did a perfect job for me. costs: 20 dollar

just a suggestion..
greetz and good luck

Cheers guys,

I've got in touch with Melvin from Custom Seats, and he is going to sort me out a bit of gel padding.

Thanks for your replies, you've saved my ass
