General update, foot pegs and all.......

Hi guys,

Just to let you know, I used to suffer from 'dead' feet when riding my bike 3AJ, I guess the virabration through the metal foot pegs did it, I've just fitted a set of rubber ones from a new XT, works very well.

As I've hit the 50,000 kms and had a rough rattle on start-up my local dealer recommended a new chain (recommendation from Yamaha every 50K), noise gone and it runs very well and yes indeed as an official dealer they do attach the new chain to old and feed it through.

I also had them change the brake hose to stainless and must say its far better, a lot more responsive with so much lever travel, I have no idea how old the fluid was.....

The bill was horrific - but at least I know why I'm working .....

No off to enjoy it....
Cheers M
