Gearbox noise '89 Ténéré
Hi guys just a quick question, I've done around 1000 kms on my new purchase '89 Ténéré. I'm noticing when cruising at around 90 - 100 kms per hour in 5th I get a metallic whining noise, if I drop down a gear or if I accelerate it disappears. Also when the engine is warm, its a pig to get into neutral.
I've heard the gearbox is the weak point on the Ténéré, any ideas ... Many thanks Matt
