frontsprocket nut tightening torque please?
 

hi. my 1vj tenere has the front sprocket which is held in place with a lockwasher and 1 big nut. does anyone know the torque for this please? its probably the same as later xt600's. cheers.

I just tighten it up with a 1/2 drive socket wrench and don't worry about exact specs. But I would think 100ft/lb would be plenty, I don't know how that would convert to Newton meters.

I haven't got the manual for the 1vj but the 3Aj is the same set up at 80lb/ft or 110nm.
